About Marinade

Hello! My name is Marie-France aka Marinade! ✌🏻

I'm a 30-something friendly Montrealer who refuses to become a “real” adult. I've always been passionate about 1000 things: writing, dancing, going on road trips, using Excel spreadsheets, loving cats (especially Sylvie!😻), photographing, chilling by the sea, caring for plants, decorating, and so many other things!

Deep down I’ve always knew that one day I was going to be an entrepreneur, and my own boss. No clues as to when or how this would happen, but I knew I wanted to wake up every morning at the time I wanted to – very important – and feeling genuinely happy. I also knew that creating something with my own hands was critical and that managing a company from A to Z was non-negotiable.

And it’s during the middle of the pandemic that I started to sew and to create scrunchies. That’s when Marinade Chouchous was born. I really hope that my creations will make you as happy as I am because I put a lot of love into each one of them! ♥
